Who are we looking for?

RailCorp is looking for people with the skills, knowledge and experience in the areas indicated below.

Safety Risk Division

The Safety Risk Division is comprised of experienced safety risk professionals with functional responsibility for:

  • establishing and developing RailCorp’s strategy and associated requirements for safety risk, safety change, OH&S and human factors within an integrated, risk based Safety Management System (SMS);
  • providing expert consulting and support to operational and project managers; and
  • delivering system safety services to capital projects.

Opportunities to join the Safety Risk team are available now - however to be eligible for these vital senior positions, you will need to meet demanding criteria. Specifically, you will need to hold relevant professional qualifications, have demonstrable significant experience and a diverse knowledge of safety risk management gained at a senior level within an organisation(s) operating in a complex, high reliability environment. Such experience may be gained in an operational, project management or consulting role. Rail specific experience will be highly regarded.

These positions provide the successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to positively influence the safety performance of the organisation and to promote achieving our objective of providing the highest possible standards of safety management for staff and all users of the NSW rail system.

Asset Management Group

A major area of RailCorp’s business, the Asset Management Group is responsible for developing and maintaining our infrastructure such as rollingstock, track, communications and control systems, structures, major projects, associated capital works and strategic asset management.
